Meliá Accommodations International has inaugurated the Palazzo Cordusio, A Gran Meliá Lodge in Milan, marking its fourth establishment within town and the debut of the Gran Meliá mark.
This luxury resort, positioned in Piazza Cordusio, is housed within the historic Palazzo Venezia, the frail headquarters of Assicurazioni Generali, constructed between 1897 and 1901 by the effectively-known architect Luca Beltrami. The present renovation project, entrusted to Studio Marco Piva by Generali Accurate Estate and ICM, included the creative route of the areas with monumental restrictions, the interior architecture and the courtyard.
The transformation has resulted in 84 rooms and suites with immense windows and, in some conditions, non-public balconies. The rooms fail to establish Piazza Cordusio, via Orefici, via dei Mercanti and the Duomo.
