Nov. 9 (UPI) — SpaceX launched 20 Starlink satellites into orbit late Friday from Vandenburg, Calif.
The Falcon 9 rocket illuminated the sky as it lifted off at 10:14 p.m. PST from Originate Complex 4 at Vandenburg Apartment Fore Substandard.
The first-stage booster landed on the Of Route I Peaceable Love You droneship positioned within the Pacific Ocean after making its 11th flight. Then, an hour later the satellites were deployed into orbit.
Of the 20 satellites, 13 hold affirm-to-cell capabilities. The Starlink constellation provides internet service to remote areas of the planet.
Two other SpaceX launches are scheduled from Florida on Sunday and Monday.
The deepest company is focusing on Sunday to open its subsequent Starlink mission at 4:28 p.m. from Originate Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Apartment Power Build of abode.
On Monday, a 12:07 p.m. open is scheduled for the Koreasat 6A telecommunications satellite tv for pc from Kennedy Apartment Build of abode.
