University of Arizona halts construction on biosciences building

University of Arizona is pausing construction on a biosciences center in downtown Phoenix due to “federal funding uncertainty,” officials said. the Center for Advanced Molecular and Immunological Therapies was set to open in 2027 at Seventh Street and Fillmore Street, south of Roosevelt Street. CAMI was planned to have a state of the art research facilities for scientists to conduct clinical trials and immunotherapies research. Vanessa Araiza reports.
