Former President Jimmy Carter dies at 100
Jimmy Carter, the 39th President of the United States who was known for his enduring commitment to philanthropy and humanitarian work, died on Dec. 29, 2024. Carter came into office the same year as a new senator from Arizona, Dennis DeConcini, who worked with Carter on projects like the Panama Canal. DeConcini spoke with CBS26 about Carter’s legacy.
