Ingredients

  • 1 equipment (12 ounces) Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 1/2 cup lemon pie filling
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest
  • 3/4 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 3 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 3 teaspoons 2% milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°. Separate rolls. Cut a deep “X” in the quit of every roll, however attain no longer lower by design of the bottoms. Place in a greased 13×9-in. baking dish. Spoon or pipe pie filling into the lower top of every roll. In small bowl, bolt butter, honey and lemon zest; drizzle over rolls.
  2. Bake until tops are browned, 15-17 minutes. In a small bowl, bolt confectioners’ sugar, lemon juice and milk until tender; drizzle over rolls. Serve heat or at room temperature.
