Salt River drowning victims identified as Afghan nationals who escaped the Taliban

The two men who drowned in the Salt River at Sheep’s Crossing on Sept. 18 were Afghan nationals who came to America to escape the Taliban. “They came to America to escape the Taliban and then this tragedy happened.”
