U.S. 60 closed in both directions as Rose Fire burns about 150 acres
Just before midnight, some residents were allowed return to their homes, except for people living between the rest area and the Hassayampa River Preserve on the U.S. 60. This left 20-25 homes still threatened by the fire, Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management said.
