AZ lawmakers to decide on ballot measure that aims to end public vote on retaining judges

Arizona legislators are looking at sending a ballot measure to voters that, if approved, would get rid of judicial retention elections in Arizona. Currently, Arizonans vote on whether or not certain judges within the state are allowed to remain in their post, years after they are appointed by the governor.
