Phoenix neighborhood bracing for traffic chaos due to I-17 closure
People in a northern Phoenix neighborhood say they’re bracing for another weekend of traffic chaos because the southbound lanes of Interstate 17 will be closed. The last time the I-17 southbound was closed it caused the Tramanto community to basically turn into a parking lot. ADOT says it has made changes to make the closure smoother for neighbors.
