ASU police chief under fire for handling of pro-Palestinian protests

Arizona State University is reviewing police chief Michael Thompson’s handling of a pro-Palestinian protest on campus that was broken up a couple of weeks ago. He has been placed on administrative leave. One expert said it is not standard protocol for police chiefs to be on the ground during a protest, something Thompson is accused of doing.
