Scientists in northern Arizona are tracking tree health on the ground using satellites up in space. Researchers from Northern Arizona Univeristy’s Eco System Innovation Lab measured, chipped and drilled into Ponderosa Pines and inserted a device to track the data, which is monitored from space.
