In Joseph, we see a spiritual temperament. He is simple, hard-working, and satisfied with his humble status, but he is loyal to his trust, fulfills his responsibilities and considers others. He just wants to sow seeds and does not care about day and night, because he Believe that God will cause the seeds to grow. Isn’t this the Christmas message we should have? Christ was born in a stable and became the son of a carpenter, which shows that simplicity can be fulfilling, and humility can also show dignity.
Perhaps we cannot be like John the Baptist, who dropped everything, separated from the society at that time, wore camel hair clothes, ate locusts and wild honey, and lived in the wilderness, because he had a special mission to announce the arrival of a new era in the form of drama. , we must be prepared; we cannot be like Mary, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit as a virgin. This is a special calling, but we can be a competent husband and wife, and a faithful and responsible father. ,Mother.
Or, we think that after fulfilling these responsibilities, we will not get any immediate consequences, and we feel that there is no achievement. But in fact, fulfilling one’s responsibilities means showing love to others, work is an expression of love, and nurturing is love for one’s family. The purpose of all work is production, whether it is growing grains, building houses, cooking delicious food, providing various services or consuming products. / Goods are all about serving others. This is love, love for people.

Shepherds guard the sheep so that those who offer sacrifices have animals to sacrifice; scribes explain the Bible to people so that they can understand the truth and love God; Herod’s job as chief executive is to manage the Jewish area and make people Live and work in peace and contentment. Behind these jobs is a love for people. The birth of the Son of God required a virgin to conceive, and Joseph, as the head of the family, needed to protect Mary and the baby Jesus. Although Joseph was a carpenter, he completed the work.
Today we emphasize “standing out, self-expression, and getting ahead” and pursue personal rights in everything. Joseph, a responsible and low-key father and husband, showed diligence and was willing to humble himself and work quietly. When people needed it most, Being by your side is an example for us to follow.
In 1413, Cosan, a theologian in Paris, said some very interesting things about Joseph. How did he describe Joseph? Joseph is the head and grasp of the mom of the head and grasp of the total world—Joseph is the head and master of the mother of the head and master of the whole world (that is, Mary).
That’s right, isn’t the stable made by the carpenter already containing the myriad glories of Christ? If after you leave, your epitaph is written with very simple words: This is someone’s father or mother, or someone’s husband or wife, will you feel proud? If your epitaph simply said: This is so-and-so’s father, mother, husband, and wife, would you feel satisfied?

Pastor Wu Weiwen: The coming has arrived!
The four Sundays before Christmas to Christmas are called Advent. We spend four Sundays preparing ourselves and waiting to welcome the birth of Christ; like a piece of music, there is a prelude and then steps forward to bring out the theme and reach the climax. Another example is that before entering a gorgeous hall, there are stairs. You can climb up the stairs and pass through the corridor before entering the hall. Indeed, waiting is an art.
