Torsion revives stalled Birmingham gain-to-rent plan

Projected completion date for the seven-storey block of 220 apartments on Alcester Boulevard in Digbeth is now early 2026.

Work stopped on the Westminster Works plan two years ago with the crumple of Metnor Construction.

AM Alpha and Torsion own now rescued the £50m infamous pattern value (GDV) challenge.

The availability arm of Torsion Community, Torsion Construction, has started works on jam following seven months of working with developer Hadrian Right Property. AM Alpha is offering funding. The architect is Glancy Nicholls.
