Scheduled between Wednesday, January 3, and Friday, January 5, road improvement efforts will encompass paving operations along various segments of North John Wayne Parkway, encompassing areas both within and outside the city limits.
Throughout this period, commuters can anticipate a reduction in lanes, with only one lane open for travel in each direction. Specific details include restrictions for northbound lanes spanning from Edison Road to Milepost 176, located to the north of the city limits, slated for closure from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On the other hand, southbound lanes, spanning between Milepost 176 and Cobblestone Farms Drive, will experience constraints from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
ADOT underlines the necessity for motorists to exercise caution, advocating a reduction in speed and heightened awareness around construction zones where personnel and equipment will be actively engaged in the ongoing roadwork. Safety measures are paramount to ensure the well-being of both construction workers and passing vehicles during this paving phase.
