Veteran who is blind will hike the Grand Canyon rim to rim
A U.S. Army veteran and former paramedic is taking on a remarkable challenge. Shawn Cheshire will become the first blind person to hike across the Grand Canyon from the North Kaibab Rim to the South Kaibab Rim without a sighted guide. CBS26’s Ellen McNamara has more.
