DPS identifies 2 people killed in motorcycle crash on Phoenix freeway
The Department of Public Safety identified the man and woman killed in a motorcycle crash on state Route 51 in Phoenix on Monday. They were as 31-year-old Raul Ponce (operator) and 26-year-old Maria Sotelo-Santos, both of Phoenix. All southbound lanes were closed at Glendale Avenue but reopened around 1 a.m.
