The Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Columbia University handed a resolution of no self perception in the faculty’s president, Nemat Shafik, on Thursday, announcing she had violated the “traditional requirements of tutorial freedom and shared governance,” and engaged in an “extraordinary assault on college students’ rights.”
