Trump administration fires 20 immigration judges

The union representing federal workers says 13 of the judges who had yet to be sworn in and five assistant chief immigration judges were dismissed without notice. Two other judges were also fired under similar circumstances in the past week. The move falls in line with Trump’s efforts to prioritize mass deportations and shrinking the size of the federal government since taking office.
