What would happen if LA pursuit suspect made it to Arizona?
During the pursuit, the reporter in KCAL’s news helicopter let viewers know what the suspect could be in for if they make it to Arizona: “we certainly know that Arizona could be awfully aggressive when it comes to stopping pursuits… they have things that we don’t even have here. This crazy contraption that comes out of the front of the cruiser. They can go on and like actually physically lock onto a suspect’s wheel.” The reporter then ends with some sage advice “It would definitely be in the suspect’s best interest to give up before they get to Arizona”.
