Another winter storm takes aim at California and parts of Arizona

For the third day in a row, heavy rain is falling in California as an “atmospheric river” hovers over the state. Some areas have already received their yearly rainfall totals, just two months into the new year, raising concerns that even more precipitation will trigger flash flooding and mud slides.
